Clarifying 2 cars with the same blue license plate in Ha Tinh

On March 27, people recorded images of two Ford Laser and Toyota Hiace cars parked on the side of Vo Liem Son Street, Ha Tinh City, with the same blue license plate number 38A-1169.

The leader of the Traffic Police Department (Ha Tinh Provincial Police) said that they are assigning professional units to verify the documents of the two cars to come up with a solution.

The 5-seat Ford Laser used to be managed by the Ha Tinh Provincial Youth Union. In 2022, the car was sold to a person residing in Ha Tinh City. Currently, the car owner is in Hanoi and has not been able to come to work with the authorities.

A representative of Ha Tinh Provincial Youth Union said that they had called the owner of the car and this person said that since purchasing it, he had not completed the procedures to change to a white license plate.

"Having two cars with the same license plate is against the law. Of the two cars, one will definitely have a fake license plate, the other car can have a license plate," said the leader of the Traffic Police Department.

According to the Motor Vehicle Registration Center, the 5-seat Ford Laser with license plate 38A-1169's inspection expired on November 8, 2022.

It is known that two cars with the same license plate number are regularly parked on Vo Liem Son Street, Nam Ha Ward, Ha Tinh City.
