Taking place at the space of King Dinh Tien Hoang Temple and King Le Dai Hanh Temple, the program includes activities such as ancient costume parade, exchange, taking photos with tourists ...
Each volunteer was selected by the Organizing Committee to wear costumes from the Dinh-Le period such as: costumes of King Dinh Tien Hoang, King Le Dai Hanh; Queen Mother Duong Van Nga, soldiers, slaves, etc. bearing the mark and identity of each historical period.
This is a very meaningful event, honoring the beauty of Vietnamese culture. |
Dao Thi Tuyet, a volunteer of the program, shared that she was very honored and proud to wear the traditional costume of Queen Duong Van Nga today, which she found to be meticulously and sharply designed. Through participating in the program, she also understood more about the historical figure Duong Van Nga, who was the Queen of two early emperors in the history of Vietnam - Dinh Tien Hoang and Le Dai Hanh.
She played a particularly important role in the transfer of power from the Dinh Dynasty to the Tien Le Dynasty; at the same time, she helped me learn more about traditional Vietnamese costumes and love the history of the nation more.
In recent times, with serious and scientific research on Vietnamese ancient costumes of different periods, the participation of leading professional consultants on ancient costumes, culture, history as well as event organization, Hoa Lu Legacy and Sinh Duoc Cooperative have successfully recreated Vietnamese ancient costumes of Dinh-Tien Le dynasties, contributing to the success of the 3rd Ninh Binh Festival with the theme "Heritage Flow" recently in Ninh Binh.
Following that event, Hoa Lu Legacy organized the program "Hoa Lu walking - Dai Co Viet y quan", aiming to contribute to building a unique image of Ninh Binh , imbued with national identity, towards building a Millennium Heritage City in the future.
Foreign tourists enjoy the experience at the program. |
According to Ms. Trinh Thi Ly, the Organizing Committee of Hoa Lu Legacy Project, when the program was launched, many young people participated and attracted photographers in Ninh Binh and Nam Dinh provinces to take photos to promote the beauty of Vietnamese traditional costumes.
This is the motivation for the organizing committee to continue researching and organizing more programs that contribute to preserving, conserving and promoting the value of the nation's heritage; through that, introducing and sharing research results, promoting cooperation, breathing new values, creating a dynamic exchange environment for creative people to promote the original values of the nation, as a foundation to foster the spirit of design and creativity imbued with Vietnamese identity.
Traditional costumes bear the mark and identity of each historical period. |
Vietnamese traditional costumes are a precious heritage, containing the soul of the nation from thousands of years ago, which needs to be preserved, conserved and promoted. This program "Hoa Lu walking - Dai Co Viet y quan" is a way to express love and pride in Vietnamese costumes and Vietnamese soul, to honor, introduce and demonstrate the beauty of Vietnamese traditional costumes; is an opportunity to share love from individuals and groups researching - collecting - applying traditional costumes in Ninh Binh, contributing to bringing Vietnamese costumes closer to the public at home and abroad, especially young people to better understand the history and culture of their nation.
