On May 23rd, at the Lam Son Theater (Hac Thanh Ward), the Thanh Hoa Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism organized a communication program to implement the Code of Conduct in Families in the province in 2026, the provincial preliminary round - competition cluster number 1.
This program is one of the key activities in Thanh Hoa province's family affairs work plan for 2026, aiming to continue effectively implementing the Code of Conduct in the Family issued by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
More than just a platform for interaction and promotion, this is also an opportunity for the traditional values of Vietnamese families to be remembered through many familiar and lively forms.
From greetings and public speaking to skits and artistic performances, the competing teams told simple yet emotionally rich stories about family love, how generations interact, and the role of the home in contemporary life.
Speaking at the program, Mr. Le Van Nam, Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Thanh Hoa province, emphasized that the family is where human character is formed and nurtured, and is the foundation for building a stable and sustainably developing society.
The implementation of the Code of Conduct in the Family aims to spread the values of "respect, equality, love, and sharing," contributing to building a healthy cultural environment in every Vietnamese family.

Competition cluster number 1 includes 9 teams from the communes and wards of: Hac Thanh, Dong Son, Dong Tien, Dong Quang, Nguyet Vien, Ham Rong, Hau Loc, Hoa Loc and Thieu Quang.
The teams participated in three rounds of competition: greetings, communication messages, and talent showcase, with content focusing on moral education , lifestyle, prevention of domestic violence, and building prosperous, progressive, and happy families.
Many performances were elaborately staged, skillfully blending propaganda and art, creating a lively atmosphere while remaining deeply humane.
Many skits explore very ordinary stories such as generation gaps, the pressures of modern life, or indifference in family communication, thereby conveying messages about listening, empathy, and sharing among family members.
Through theatrical performances, the participating teams also showcased many good models and effective practices at the grassroots level in building cultured and happy families, contributing to the practical implementation of the Code of Conduct in the Family.
According to the organizers, the provincial preliminary round was divided into five geographical clusters, attracting hundreds of members from sustainable family development clubs, happy family clubs, and exemplary families.
The teams that win first and second place in each group will advance to the provincial finals, scheduled to be held at the end of June 2026 at the Lam Son Theater.
