Lang Son organizes the 115th anniversary of the birth of comrade Luong Van Tri

Program to celebrate the 115th birthday of comrade Luong Van Tri.

Comrade Luong Van Tri was born on August 17, 1910, in a Tay family with a rich tradition of patriotism and studiousness in My Liet commune, My Liet canton, Van Uyen district, now Diem He commune, Lang Son province.

During 13 years of continuous revolutionary activities (1928-1941), the patriotic young man, the steadfast and indomitable communist soldier Luong Van Tri made outstanding contributions to the national liberation movement under the leadership of the Communist Party of Vietnam during the period 1930-1945.

Leaders of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lang Son province attended the celebration program.

He is a shining example of the steadfast and indomitable spirit of a communist soldier, a typical senior leader of the Party and the Vietnamese revolution.

Promoting the revolutionary tradition and spirit of comrade Luong Van Tri, in recent years, Van Quan district (formerly), now the communes of Van Quan, Diem He, Khanh Khe, Tan Doan, Tri Le, Yen Phuc have made many efforts in building and developing their homeland.

The program to celebrate the 115th anniversary of Comrade Luong Van Tri's birthday is an opportunity for all levels, sectors, cadres, party members and people of Van Quan hometown to review the glorious tradition, show gratitude and remember the life and revolutionary career of Comrade Luong Van Tri.

Speaking at the program, comrade Hoang Van Nghiem, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Lang Son province emphasized that the contributions of comrade Luong Van Tri not only contributed to the victory of the Vietnamese revolution but also laid the foundation for the development of his homeland Lang Son.

The great contributions and sacrifices of comrade Luong Van Tri will forever be the pride of the Party Committee and the people of all ethnic groups in Lang Son.

The Provincial Party Secretary suggested that all levels, sectors and localities of Lang Son province need to continue promoting the achieved results, overcome difficulties, and carry out well the work of building a strong and comprehensive Party, government, Fatherland Front and mass organizations; strive to successfully implement the socio-economic development, national defense and security goals set out in the Resolution of the Commune Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term.

Besides, localities need to try to overcome difficulties and effectively implement the 2-level local government model in the direction of being streamlined, strong, operating close to the people, serving the people better.

Art performance at the anniversary program.

At the commemorative program, delegates and people watched a reportage on the life and career of comrade Luong Van Tri; enjoyed special art performances with the theme "The scent of star anise spreads - His footprints shine forever" with many singing, dancing and music performances praising the Party, beloved Uncle Ho, the homeland of Van Quan, the homeland of the innovative Lang Son.
