Leaders of Champasak Provincial People's Council (Laos) offer incense at the Monument of Heroic Vietnamese Mothers - Radio

On the morning of May 23, during a working trip to Quang Nam , a high-ranking delegation of the People's Council of Champasak Province (Laos) led by Comrade Sai-thong Xay-ya-vong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Champasak Province came to offer flowers and incense at the monument of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers (An Phu Ward, Tam Ky City). Attending the ceremony were Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Cong Thanh and representatives of departments and branches of the province.

In a solemn atmosphere, Comrade Sai-thong Xay-ya-vong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, Head of the National Assembly Delegation of Champasak Province; Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council Nguyen Cong Thanh and delegates respectfully offered flowers, incense, and observed a minute of silence to express deep gratitude for the great contributions and sacrifices of the heroic Vietnamese Mothers in the struggle for national liberation, construction and protection of the country.

During the two resistance wars against France and the US to save the country, millions of heroic Vietnamese mothers said goodbye to their husbands and children as they left to fulfill their duty, fight and sacrifice for the independence of the two nations of Vietnam and Laos. Today's generation vows to continue to inherit and promote the revolutionary tradition, constantly nurturing the special friendship between Vietnam and Laos to be forever green and everlasting.
