In the solemn atmosphere of the ceremony, in front of the Uncle Ho Monument with the Central Highlands people at the Great Solidarity Square, the leaders of Gia Lai province and delegates respectfully offered wreaths, expressing their infinite gratitude and commemorating the immense contributions of President Ho Chi Minh - National Liberation Hero, Genius Leader of the Party and People, Outstanding Cultural Man of Vietnam, Outstanding Soldier of the International Communist and Workers' Movement. His entire life and revolutionary career are a shining example for our entire Party, people and army to learn and follow. Taking a minute of silence in front of the Uncle Ho Monument, remembering his merits and teachings, the delegates vowed to constantly strive, continue to promote the tradition of national solidarity, build Gia Lai province and Vietnam to become increasingly prosperous and powerful in the new era - the era of the Vietnamese people's rise.
Provincial leaders and former leaders offer flowers at the Martyrs Cemetery (Pleiku ward)
After the flower offering ceremony at the Great Unity Square, the leaders of Gia Lai province and delegates offered incense to Uncle Ho at the Uncle Ho Temple in the Pleiku Museum; commemorating the great contributions of President Ho Chi Minh - who devoted his whole life to the revolutionary cause, for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland, for the happiness of the people.
Burn incense in gratitude at the graves of heroic martyrs
Visiting the martyrs at the Martyrs' Cemetery (in Pleiku Ward), in front of the Monument of the Fatherland, the provincial leaders and delegates laid wreaths, respectfully offered incense and observed a moment of silence to commemorate the great contributions of generations of fathers and brothers who heroically sacrificed for the cause of national liberation, defending the Fatherland and fulfilling noble international duties. The delegates also burned incense at each martyr's grave, expressing the morality of "When drinking water, remember its source", the deep gratitude of the Party Committee, government and people of all ethnic groups in Gia Lai province to the previous generations of fathers and brothers.

Also on the morning of July 26, delegates attended the Martyrs' Memorial Service at Duc Co Martyrs' Cemetery. Here, provincial leaders also performed the bell-ringing ceremony as a tribute to the heroic martyrs and offered incense, expressing deep gratitude for the great contributions of President Ho Chi Minh and commemorating the outstanding children who heroically sacrificed for the cause of national liberation and protection of the Fatherland.

Many relatives of martyrs, veterans, and youth union members in Duc Co commune were also present, burning incense to commemorate their relatives and former comrades; expressing sacred feelings and attachment to heroic historical values.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee expressed deep gratitude to the heroic martyrs who fell for the independence and freedom of the nation.
Duc Co Martyrs Cemetery is the resting place of nearly 2,000 martyrs, many of whom died on the southwestern border battlefield and while on international duty in Cambodia. This place is not only a red address for educating the younger generation about revolutionary traditions, but also a sacred symbol of the indomitable spirit, ready to sacrifice for the Fatherland.
