To commemorate the 136th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birthday (May 19, 1890 - May 19, 2026), on the morning of May 19, the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial People's Committee, and the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Vinh Long province organized a delegation to lay wreaths and pay respects to President Ho Chi Minh at the Ho Chi Minh Memorial Temple (Long Duc ward).

The delegation paying respects was led by Comrade Kim Ngoc Thai. Also participating were: Comrade Kim Ruong - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Comrade Nguyen Quynh Thien - Provincial Party Committee Member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Comrade Bui Quang Huy - former Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam, former Secretary of the Tra Vinh Provincial Party Committee; leaders of provincial departments and agencies; and leaders of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Long Duc Ward and Tra Vinh Ward…
With reverence, offering flowers and incense to the spirit of President Ho Chi Minh, Comrade Kim Ngoc Thai and the members of the delegation pledged to engrave in their hearts the teachings of Uncle Ho. The members of the delegation vowed to unite wholeheartedly, continue to uphold the revolutionary tradition, promote the study and emulation of Ho Chi Minh's thought, morality, and style; uphold a spirit of responsibility, dynamism, and creativity; resolutely build a clean and strong Party and political system; develop the economy and society rapidly and sustainably; and build a more prosperous, beautiful, and civilized Vinh Long homeland.
