On May 9th, a delegation from the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee visited and congratulated the Executive Board of the Ho Chi Minh City Buddhist Association on the occasion of the Buddha's Birthday Celebration, Buddhist Calendar 2569 - Gregorian Calendar 2025. The delegation was led by Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Loc, Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee and Chairman of the Ho Chi Minh City Fatherland Front Committee.

Mr. Nguyen Phuoc Loc highly appreciated the successful outcome of the United Nations Vesak Celebration 2025, affirming that the role of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha is further enhanced in the international Buddhist community.
