Ho Chi Minh City leaders offer incense to commemorate heroic martyrs

On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification Day, on the morning of April 29, the delegation of the City Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City led by Politburo member and Secretary of the City Party Committee Nguyen Van Nen offered flowers and incense to commemorate the heroic martyrs.

At the Ho Chi Minh City Martyrs' Cemetery (Nameless Hill, Thu Duc City), the delegation respectfully laid a wreath with the inscription: "The City Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Ho Chi Minh City forever remember the heroic martyrs", expressing deep gratitude for the great contributions of the heroic martyrs, Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, who sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.

The delegation observed a minute of silence to commemorate the heroic martyrs, heroic Vietnamese mothers, and outstanding children of the nation who sacrificed their blood and bones for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland and the happiness of the people. Afterwards, the delegates went to burn incense and pay their respects at the graves.

After visiting the Ho Chi Minh City Martyrs' Cemetery, the delegation offered incense, laid wreaths, and paid tribute to generations of leaders, elders, and revolutionary predecessors who made great contributions to the cause of building and defending the Fatherland at the Ho Chi Minh City Cemetery (Lac Canh, Thu Duc City).
