Lao Cai: Ensuring the best conditions for candidates to take the 2025 High School Graduation Exam

The 2025 high school graduation exam in Lao Cai province has 9,271 candidates; 1 examination council is organized, 27 examination sites are located in districts, towns and cities (an increase of 1 examination site compared to 2024).

Specifically: Lao Cai city has 6 examination sites; Bac Ha, Bao Thang, Bao Yen, Muong Khuong, Van Ban districts each have 3 examination sites; Bat Xat, Simacai districts and Sa Pa town each have 2 examination sites. The whole province is expected to have 399 examination rooms and 14 waiting rooms to serve the organization of the exam.

Comrade Do Minh Tam, Deputy Director of the Departmentof Education and Training of Lao Cai province, said that to ensure this year's High School Graduation Exam, in addition to ensuring good material conditions, Lao Cai province also pays special attention to supporting candidates taking the exam.

Accordingly, all students of boarding and semi-boarding high schools and students in difficult circumstances in the area will continue to be supported according to Resolution No. 08 dated July 15, 2022 of the People's Council of Lao Cai province.

Along with that, the province also mobilized other boarding and semi-boarding schools in the area to provide accommodation and meals for candidates living far away. The education sector also proactively grasped all information about parents of students to have plans to support candidates when necessary, especially when there were unusual situations during the exam organization.

Lao Cai province organizes the exam to ensure seriousness, objectivity, fairness, compliance with regulations, efficiency, and safety; reduces pressure and costs, and creates the most favorable conditions for candidates; supports the arrangement and creates accommodation conditions for candidates living far away, gathers candidates living far away near the exam site before organizing the exam; ensures that no candidates have to drop out or take time off from the exam for objective reasons.
