Lao Cai: Commune Police Captain promptly donated blood to save emergency surgery patient

On October 10, upon receiving news that the Si Ma Cai Regional General Hospital had a patient in need of emergency surgery but was anemic, Captain Leng Y Chinh - a police officer of Si Ma Cai commune, quickly appeared and volunteered to donate blood to save the life.

At around 1:00 p.m. the same day, Simacai Regional General Hospital received patient Tinh Thi Senh (born in 1992, residing in San Sin Pao village, Sin Cheng commune) in a state of ruptured ectopic pregnancy, abdominal cyst, heavy blood loss, requiring urgent surgery. However, the hospital's blood reserve was insufficient and could not be replenished in time from the upper level, seriously threatening the patient's life.

Faced with the emergency, Captain Leng Y Chinh immediately donated blood after his blood type was determined to be compatible. Thanks to the timely blood supply, the surgery was successful, saving patient Senh from a critical condition.
