Lao Cai: Parade to promote voluntary blood donation

On the afternoon of August 2, in Yen Bai ward, the Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation of Lao Cai province held a launching ceremony with nearly 100 officers and volunteers participating in a parade and mobile propaganda about voluntary blood donation.

This is one of the activities within the framework of the program "Red Journey - Drops of Love" in Lao Cai province in 2025.

The parade on bicycles and motorbikes started from 19/8 Square, passing through the central streets of Yen Bai ward and densely populated areas in the wards of Au Lau, Van Phu, Nam Cuong and Yen Binh commune, creating a vibrant atmosphere and spreading the spirit of humanity and sharing for the community.

Also within the framework of the program, the Provincial Steering Committee for Voluntary Blood Donation organized and deployed 5 propaganda teams to spread the message of love from the "Red Journey - Red Drops of Love" Program in 2025 in the areas: km6 market, km4 market, train station market, Yen Binh market, Ben Do market; distributed 4,000 leaflets on the benefits of voluntary blood donation; things to know and safe blood donation procedures; detailed information about the date of the Red Journey Program in Lao Cai province.

The propaganda team distributed leaflets promoting the benefits of voluntary blood donation.

Through these activities, we have contributed to raising people's awareness of voluntary blood donation and blood donation safety; arousing the nation's tradition of humanity, gradually making the voluntary blood donation movement a regular activity in all localities and units in the province.
