Specifically, in July 2025, the entire province issued new registration certificates to 115 enterprises and 33 affiliated units, an increase of 19.5% compared to the same period; the total registered capital reached 862.7 billion VND.

In the first seven months of 2025, the province saw the establishment of 635 new businesses and 92 affiliated units, a 7.2% increase compared to the same period last year. Total registered capital in the first seven months reached 4,123 billion VND. This is a positive sign, especially considering the negative impacts of the global economic downturn and tightening investment policies in many localities.

The reorganization of the two-tiered local government structure helps streamline the administrative apparatus, improve management efficiency, and shorten the time required to process administrative procedures. This is a key factor in helping businesses reduce costs and risks when investing.
Furthermore, Lao Cai continues to promote administrative reform, ensuring transparency in the process of receiving and handling applications, applying information technology in management and operation, and creating a healthy and favorable competitive environment for businesses. This is an important prerequisite for attracting more investment capital, contributing to the province's economic growth, and creating sustainable jobs for local people.

With a new foundation after the merger and a determination to improve the quality of governance, Lao Cai is gradually asserting its position as an attractive destination for investors, contributing to promoting sustainable economic growth.
