At about 9:00 a.m. on July 26, 2025, the Trinh Tuong Border Guard Station Working Group was on duty in San Ho village, Trinh Tuong commune, Lao Cai province, when they discovered and arrested a subject for illegally storing drugs. The working group quickly questioned Thao A Hu, born in 1967, Mong ethnic group, residing in Na Lac village, Trinh Tuong commune, Lao Cai province. He confessed: He had just bought drugs at the Sung Thi E's hut in San Ho village, Trinh Tuong commune, Lao Cai province for use.
Sung Thi E confessed to selling Thao A Hu a package of drugs wrapped in white plastic containing a white, lumpy, dry powder. During the investigation, Sung Thi E took out 38 white plastic packages containing a white, lumpy, dry powder. Sung Thi E confessed that these were drugs that Vu A Sua, E's husband, bought to sell for profit.
At around 12:00 on July 26, 2025, when Vu A Sua learned that his wife was arrested by Trinh Tuong Border Guard Station for illegal drug trafficking, he went to Trinh Tuong Border Guard Station to surrender to ask for leniency from the law.
According to the forensic conclusion of the Criminal Techniques Department of Lao Cai Provincial Police, the entire amount of drugs weighing 10.24 grams is heroin.
Currently, Trinh Tuong Border Guard Station is continuing to coordinate with relevant agencies to investigate and clarify the matter.
