Lao Cai: Fire in Au Lau ward causes damage of about 40 billion VND

After completely extinguishing the fire at LTT Production and Trading Joint Stock Company, in Au Lau Industrial Park, Lao Cai Province; the authorities have counted the damage and organized a scene investigation to investigate the cause of the fire.

Estimated damage from the fire is about 40 billion VND.

Immediately after the incident, the People's Committee of Au Lau ward directed and mobilized local forces including militia, police, and local people to participate in fire fighting.

At the same time, notify the provincial fire prevention and fighting force; Yen Bai regional electricity cut off the power at the scene of the fire; notify Yen Bai Water Supply and Construction Joint Stock Company to pump water to serve the fire fighting work.

Fire police arrived promptly and applied professional measures to prevent the fire from spreading.

Authorities are continuing to investigate the cause of the fire.

Preliminary statistics show that the fire burned down nearly 2,400m² of raw material warehouse, 1,200m² of factory and production equipment, and about 2,000 tons of raw materials, causing damage of about 40 billion VND.

Currently, the damage statistics are still being implemented by the functional units, and the authorities are also continuing to investigate and clarify.
