August 28, 2023 is probably an unforgettable milestone for engineers and workers at VinES Ha Tinh Battery Factory. After nearly 2 years of construction and trial operation, the factory has officially welcomed the first battery packs for VinFast 's VF6 car line.

Contacting engineers and workers of VinES Battery Factory right after the first batch of battery packs was "baked", we felt the joy, pride and trust in every look and operation of their production stages.
Mr. Dipanial Dey - Head of the Extrusion Welding Workshop, VinES Ha Tinh Battery Factory happily said: "On December 12, 2021, the factory started construction, at that time the company mobilized experts, engineers and started recruiting new workers for the project. After the process of assembling and testing the production line, the workers at the factory were very happy to welcome the first battery pack product lines. Participating in the project from the early days, now there are the first results, I am very happy and proud to be a part of the project. We are trying our best to create the best quality products to bring to consumers...".

Along with many other engineers and workers in the factory, 15 engineers and workers in the battery pack production group (Assembly Workshop) are focusing on assembling and processing battery packs according to standards and techniques before shipping them to the warehouse. Everyone is working very attentively and skillfully.
Mr. Le Thanh Hai - Head of the battery pack production team, VinES Ha Tinh Battery Factory shared: “During the trial operation process, the engineers in our team were thoroughly trained so that when it came to commercial production, all departments coordinated smoothly. Without anyone telling anyone, we all focused all our spirit and intelligence to complete our tasks and work to bring customers the highest quality products... The joy of customers is our joy”.
On August 28, 2023, VinES Ha Tinh Battery Factory officially produced battery packs for the VF6 car line. In addition to the support of the most advanced robot system, more than 100 engineers and workers at the factory are enthusiastically competing in production to meet the set schedule. In the process of market research, the factory is currently only producing more than 30% of its capacity, producing an average of about 120 battery packs per day.
Engineer Nguyen Hoang Hiep - Head of Battery Pack Engineering Department, VinES Ha Tinh Battery Factory shared: “VinES Ha Tinh Battery Factory is the first factory of Vingroup Corporation as well as Vietnam to produce battery packs for VinFast's VF6 car line. These are product lines manufactured with the most modern technology today, product quality meets international standards. The first products have created trust and motivation for all engineers and workers in the factory to promote their sense of responsibility, make every effort to ensure the most efficient operation of the factory in the coming time...”.
The factory is currently producing at about 30% capacity, producing an average of about 120 battery packs per day.
The VinES Battery Factory Project was approved by the Ha Tinh Economic Zone Management Board for investment with a total registered capital of over VND 3,784 billion. The factory is invested by Vingroup Corporation, located in Vung Ang Economic Zone (Ky Loi Commune, Ky Anh Town) with a total land use area of over 12.6 hectares.
With a high level of automation of over 80%, this is the most modern battery factory in Vietnam, using leading advanced technologies according to American and European standards.
The entire factory infrastructure, including component casting, assembly welding and packaging workshops, will be built to ensure a capacity of 100,000 battery packs/year. In phase 2, the factory will be expanded to produce battery cells and increase capacity to 1 million battery packs/year.
Completed battery pack products are transported to VinFast's VF6 assembly plant in Hai Phong.

Inc joint venture battery factory (Vingroup's second battery factory being invested in construction in Vung Ang Economic Zone) is an important step in implementing Vingroup's "three-legged" battery strategy: buying batteries from the world's best manufacturers - cooperating with partners to produce the world's best batteries - self-researching and developing battery production.
After the first products were “baked”, the spirit of the workers was very excited. The factory has an automation level of over 80% so the number of workers is not too large. Up to now, the company has always cared about the lives of engineers and workers. In addition to salaries and bonuses commensurate with each position, the company also does a good job of taking care of the lives of workers such as supporting food and accommodation... to help workers from other provinces feel secure in their work and stay with the company for a long time...
