Mr. Dang Nguyen Thinh, Head of the Education and Training Department of District 7 (Ho Chi Minh City), said that the district's Education and Training Department has established a team to inspect the responsibilities of school principals in organizing and implementing the 2018 General Education Program; managing extracurricular tutoring; managing life skills education, STEM education, English language teaching with foreign teachers; and the activities of clubs, extracurricular activities, and happy schools…

Mr. Dang Nguyen Thinh requested that in February and March, the principals of primary schools report on their self-assessment within the scope of the inspection team's inspection. They should prepare complete supporting documents for each inspection item and organize them logically and scientifically to facilitate the inspection team's work.

Also related to the implementation of Circular 29 on tutoring, the People's Committee of District 12 has directed the District Education and Training Department to coordinate with the People's Committees of the wards to establish inspection teams to monitor tutoring activities in the area.

Ms. Vo Thi Chinh, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of District 12, requested that the principals of public schools in the district ensure that 100% of teachers and staff understand Circular 29, the directives of the City People's Committee, and the guidelines of the Department of Education and Training regarding supplementary teaching and learning.

In parallel, the District 12 People's Committee requested that school leaders regularly review, remind, and inspect the situation regarding the rectification of regulations on extracurricular tutoring among school staff and teachers; and coordinate with competent authorities to handle violations (if any) according to regulations.
