On May 17th, news from the Office of the People's Committee of Vinh Long province indicated that Mr. Nguyen Van Liet, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of the province, had signed a decision to establish an inspection team to verify the construction process of the Khang Thi residential area investment project by P&G Real Estate Co., Ltd. (headquarters located in Hamlet 1, Ward 8, Vinh Long City).

The inspection team was led by Mr. Duong Van Bay, Deputy Chief Inspector of Vinh Long province.

The purpose of forming the inspection team is to verify the construction process of the Khang Thi neighborhood housing investment project.

The units and individuals inspected this time include P&G Real Estate Company Limited, the People's Committee of Ward 2; the People's Committee of Vinh Long City; the Department of Construction; the Department of Natural Resources and Environment; the Department of Planning and Investment; and other units and individuals related to the inspection content.

The inspection team is responsible for inspecting and verifying the entire construction process of the Khang Thi neighborhood investment project by P&G Real Estate Co., Ltd. The inspection results must be reported to the Chairman of the People's Committee of Vinh Long province.

Previously, P&G Real Estate Company Limited had been fined hundreds of millions of VND by the People's Committee of Vinh Long province multiple times for administrative violations including the unauthorized construction of houses and roads on agricultural and aquaculture land; and implementing projects before obtaining investment approval simultaneously with investor approval...

As reported by the News Reporter , Khang Thi neighborhood is located on Nguyen Hue Street, Ward 2, Vinh Long City. This neighborhood was built on a plot of land in the middle of a residential area with an area of ​​approximately 6,800 m2. Of this, more than 3,485 m2 is land for perennial crops and more than 794 m2 is land for aquaculture, which will be used for roads and housing construction…

Furthermore, the company also arbitrarily acquired land use rights from an individual, totaling 6,764.8m2, to carry out a project that had not been approved by the Provincial People's Committee.

The Khang Thi neighborhood consists of 42 European-style townhouses, each with 3 floors and a floor area of ​​220-240m2, offered for sale by the developer at prices in the billions of VND per unit.
