In just under a month, the newly crowned Miss Grand Vietnam 2023, Le Hoang Phuong, will officially enter the Miss Grand International 2023 competition. Meanwhile, Huong Ly, the winner of Vietnam's Next Top Model 2015, is also busy preparing for Miss Universe Vietnam 2023, as she is one of the contestants who made it to the Top 18. This is reportedly Huong Ly's fourth time participating in a beauty pageant, so she aims to win the Miss Universe Vietnam 2023 crown.

Previously, at the Miss Universe Vietnam 2022 competition, Nguyen Thi Ngoc Chau became the winner of the prestigious crown. The titles of First Runner-up and Second Runner-up of Miss Universe Vietnam 2022 went to Thao Nhi Le and Thuy Tien, respectively. After this beauty pageant, with both reaching the Top 5 of Miss Universe Vietnam 2022, Le Hoang Phuong and Huong Ly have maintained a close relationship. They often accompany each other at fashion events and in life, receiving attention from the beauty pageant community.

Vietnam's Next Top Model 2015 winner Huong Ly: "In my eyes, Le Hoang Phuong is someone who keeps his promises."

In an interview with Dan Viet newspaper, Huong Ly, the winner of Vietnam's Next Top Model 2015, shared her thoughts about Miss Le Hoang Phuong, her friend who accompanied her to the Top 5 of Miss Universe Vietnam 2022. Huong Ly believes that the top title at Miss Grand Vietnam 2023 is a well-deserved reward for her friend's continuous efforts and hard work.

"As a friend who has accompanied Le Hoang Phuong in competitions and in life, I am very happy that my friend has made a positive transition and achieved excellent results," Huong Ly confided.

Speaking to Dan Viet ahead of Le Hoang Phuong's participation in Miss Grand International 2023 , Huong Ly, the winner of Vietnam's Next Top Model 2015, said: "In my eyes, Le Hoang Phuong is someone who keeps her promises. I wish Phuong to always maintain her unwavering spirit, a warm heart, and steady feet so that she can take even longer strides, not only for herself but also for Vietnam at the upcoming Miss Grand International competition."

When asked by a reporter from Dan Viet whether she planned to "venture" into Miss Grand Vietnam 2023 after her close friend's victory in the competition, the winner of Vietnam's Next Top Model 2015 affirmed: "I only love and pursue one dream, and that is the dream of Miss Universe (laughs)."
