Just before the national costume competition of Miss Grand International 2023, Le Hoang Phuong made fans worried when she posted a picture of her legs with many bruises. This made many people think that the costume named "Dance of the Dragon" brought many difficulties to the Vietnamese representative because of its large and cumbersome size.

Sharing with Dan Viet , the representative of the Miss Grand Vietnam Organizing Committee said: "The costume performed by Le Hoang Phuong was "upgraded" more elaborately with a height of up to 3.5m and a weight of 20kg. The designer and the Miss Grand Vietnam Organizing Committee are always trying to make this costume more brilliant, more theatrical, and more performative to create an impression on the beauty-loving community."

Sharing after the national costume competition of Miss Grand International 2023, Le Hoang Phuong said: "I am very proud that I can perform the national costume called "Dance of the Dragon" right on Vietnamese soil. When I heard the applause and shouts of my name and my country, I could not help but be emotional throughout my time on stage."

In addition to the performance of the Vietnamese representative, the beauties from Cambodia, Venezuela, Thailand, Myanmar... also received enthusiastic support from the beauty-loving community in the national costume competition of Miss Grand International 2023. According to the Organizing Committee, the costumes of these beauties weighed about 30kg.
