Following the 2024 Christmas season marked by the appearance of a real pine forest in the heart of the city, this year LumiFesti Saigon, with The theme " Light it. Love it. Live it" continues to expand its role by choosing the Independence Palace as the venue, with the desire to explore new possibilities for a historical heritage – not only providing a festive atmosphere but also connecting light, art, and community experiences in an emotionally rich space.
The organizers said that the Christmas atmosphere would be illuminated within the Independence Palace, both dazzling and harmonious with the building's distinctive architecture.
Accordingly, during the three days of the festival (at 1 Huyen Tran Cong Chua Street, Ben Thanh Ward, Ho Chi Minh City), residents and tourists will be able to experience free cultural and entertainment activities such as Craftmas: offering craft workshops (making greeting cards, decorating scented candles, or creating jewelry bracelets, wreaths, etc.); Artmas: an exhibition space designed as a journey around the world with 10 art-toy Baby Sumo Kō (toy-style handcrafted art characters carrying the message of "breaking down body image stereotypes," encouraging self-confidence and acceptance of differences), representing the cultural colors of peoples worldwide; Baby Sumo Kō Theme Park designed as a miniature amusement park; Jingle Stage: a mini stage with the melodies of the festival season refreshed through acoustic performances; Cheers Joy: enjoying the diversity of culinary culture...

The highlight of LumiFesti Saigon 2025 is the exhibition area featuring a giant gift box (12m x 7m), with a design characteristic of the Christmas season combined with the architecture of the Independence Palace. During the day, the outside of the box will be a unique check-in point, but in the evening, the giant gift box will become the backdrop for a 3D mapping display depicting Christmas and New Year stories. Inside the gift box is a light exhibition with themes of pop art, Sumo Kochi, and other electronic art (electric art).
