On the afternoon of January 13, the 2025 Vietnamese Tet Festival at the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Cultural House officially opened, welcoming visitors and taking souvenir photos.

This is the 19th year the Vietnamese Tet Festival has been organized periodically by the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Cultural House, attracting hundreds of thousands of people to come and enjoy and take souvenir photos every year.

The Vietnamese Tet Festival is faithful to the core values of the traditional Vietnamese Tet through familiar images such as: calligraphy street, apricot garden, apricot road, and traditional craft villages.

Many famous people bring traditional Tet values to the people such as: artist Tuyet Thu, beauty queen H'Hen Nie, singers Quoc Dai, Ngoc Linh, Kyo York, Nam Cuong, Ngoc Ha, Doan Dai Hoa, MC Quynh Hoa, Quoc Binh, Anh Quan, Phung The Huy, circus artist Thanh Hoa, Hien Phuoc...

This year, the calligraphy street with more than 50 young calligraphers displaying Chinese ink and red paper for visitors reminds them of the old Tet. The calligraphy street stalls are arranged along the frontage of Pham Ngoc Thach and Nguyen Thi Minh Khai streets. Mr. Nguyen Hong Phuc - Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Youth Cultural House - said that next year the calligraphy street will have calligraphers giving English calligraphy.
