NDO - This morning, September 5th, teachers and students of Khuong Dinh Secondary School (Thanh Xuan district, Hanoi ) joyfully celebrated the opening ceremony, ready to embark on the new school year 2024-2025.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Ms. Nguyen Bich Nga, Party Secretary and Principal of Khuong Dinh Secondary School, extended her congratulations to over 1,700 students and the entire staff, teachers, and employees of the school for successfully completing the 2023-2024 school year.
In the joyful and enthusiastic atmosphere of the school and its students, Ms. Nguyen Bich Nga shared: "The biggest goal that the school is striving for is to build a high-quality, safe, friendly, and happy school environment."
General Secretary and President To Lam sent a letter to the education sector on the occasion of the opening of the new school year. |
In the context of the entire education sector in Hanoi focusing on improving the quality of the teaching staff; promoting the rate of quality in mass education and high-quality specialized education… the collective of teachers and staff of Khuong Dinh Secondary School has successfully fulfilled its nhiệm vụ of maintaining the title of a national standard school, achieving the title of "Outstanding Labor Collective" and raising the pass rate for grade 10 to 85-90%.
This success is due to the unified educational approach of the school's leadership, the unity, consensus, dedication, and passion of the teachers and staff, and the students' enthusiasm for learning, creativity, and continuous updating of knowledge.
In the 2023-2024 school year, Khuong Dinh Secondary School achieved the top ranking among secondary schools in Thanh Xuan district. |
The school also decided to "refresh a slogan that never gets old," which is "All for our beloved students."
Ahead of the new school year, the school's administration implemented a creative idea: organizing the first parent-teacher meeting of the year titled "Expressing What We Want to Say - Sharing Love."
Unlike the traditional nature of "parent-teacher meetings," at this special session, parents were able to read cards prepared by their children, containing requests, wishes, and dreams for their parents, teachers, friends, and the school.
Conversely, the homeroom teacher allows parents to write down their responses and comments to their children. In this way, parents and children can better understand each other's thoughts, and together with the "school as a bridge," improve the educational and training process.
The school decided to "refresh a slogan that never gets old," which is "All for our beloved students." |
Ms. Mai Thi Duyet, parent of Le Nhat Minh, a student in class 9A5, said: “We were truly surprised and deeply moved to attend this special parent-teacher meeting. We felt the thoughtfulness and dedication of the teachers, and we also became aware of our responsibility in working together with the school and society to care for and educate our children to become mature adults.”
Organizing the opening ceremony of the 2024-2025 school year at a special time, when all levels and sectors throughout the city are launching a peak emulation campaign to achieve outstanding results to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of Hanoi (1954-2024), Khuong Dinh Secondary School has implemented many vibrant and specific action programs, including a plan to organize the competition "For a Green School - For a Green Hanoi".
This is a very meaningful activity, aimed at raising awareness and responsibility among teachers and students in protecting the environment; proposing initiatives, ideas, and solutions to build a green, clean, and beautiful school.
The competition received an enthusiastic response from all teachers and students, and many innovative ideas have been implemented in practice.
The giant mural with the theme "I love Hanoi" created by the teachers and students of Khuong Dinh Secondary School is one of many meaningful activities the school dedicates to the community. |
From the competition, many clubs for youth union members and students of all grade levels were established, such as the "For a Green School" club, the "Joining Hands to Beautify Homes, Streets, and Schools" club, etc.
Or small but practical actions such as saving electricity, not wasting toilet paper, planting more trees... More importantly, from this competition, a movement to maintain a clean and green school environment has formed, proactively and voluntarily, so that the school's pedagogical environment improves and beautifies every day.
The opening ceremony of the 2024-2025 school year at Khuong Dinh Secondary School concluded with the launching of the month-long campaign to achieve outstanding results in celebration of the 70th anniversary of the Liberation of Hanoi (October 10, 1954 - October 10, 2024) and the opening of the new school year's theme: "For a green school - For a green Hanoi".
