On the morning of December 2, in Hanoi, Vietnam National Assembly Television coordinated with the Vietnam Bicycle - Motor Sports Federation to organize a ceremony to send off participants to the Cambodia - Laos - Vietnam Friendship Cycling Race.

The race will promote regional sports movements, enhance people-to-people exchanges, and enhance close friendship among delegates attending the Conference. In addition to promoting the physical training and sports movement of the people of the three countries, the cycling race also has a humanistic meaning of solidarity, team spirit, promoting cultural and tourism activities of each country; at the same time, it is a practical action to promote the Message of the Conference, which is: Peace , Friendship, Solidarity and Cooperation for Prosperity and Sustainable Development.

This is a sporting event that brings together cyclists from three countries to compete at the National Assembly Square, Vientiane Capital, Laos. With a distance of 35.2 km, the Vietnamese racing team consists of 25 athletes from the National Youth Cycling Team and 2 Amateur Cycling Teams selected from more than 1,500 members of the Northern Big Hands Cycling Sports Association participating in the competition.

During this journey, the Vietnam Cycling and Motor Sports Federation will present bicycles to Vietnamese children at Nguyen Du Bilingual School in Laos. This is a meaningful activity of the Federation in particular and of Vietnamese athletes in general, contributing to strengthening the special friendship and solidarity between the people of the two countries.

According to the plan, the Vietnamese delegation will move to Vientiane, Laos in two directions, including: The amateur cycling delegation will depart from Hanoi by road to Quang Tri, expected to exit through Cau Treo Border Gate, Ha Tinh and move to Vientiane; The national youth cycling team will depart from Da Nang city to Vientiane by air. The Vietnam Cycling - Motor Sports Federation is honored to be selected by the National Assembly Office to accompany and participate in the Cambodia - Laos - Vietnam Friendship Cycling Race. The delegation's preparations are ready and all members are fully aware of their responsibilities for the tournament; each person will be a "messenger" of culture and sports, conveying the most beautiful images of the country and people of Vietnam to international friends./.
