At the ceremony, the organizers also officially announced the honor of two veteran musicians Duong Thu and Bao Chan with the Green Wave Achievement Award, in recognition of their great contributions to Vietnamese music . Over the decades, their compositions have not only created brilliant milestones for the Green Wave program but also become a launching pad for a series of excellent singers, contributing to shaping the flow of modern Vietnamese music.

It is not an exaggeration to say that 2024 is the year of "yang sheng yin waning" in the music industry, because male faces have truly dominated with the number of people almost double that of female faces. This year, Son Tung M-TP leads with 5 nominations, including Song of the Year (Don't Make My Heart Hurt), Phenomenal Song (Don't Make My Heart Hurt), Producer of the Year, MV of the Year and Male Singer/Rapper of the Year.

On the female side, Bich Phuong and Vu Cat Tuong each have 2 nominations. Director Dinh Ha Uyen Thu also has 2 nominations in the MV of the Year category for Hoa Ca (theme song “Anh trai vuon ngan cong gai”) and Khong ra gi, the latest music product of Truc Nhan.

The Male Singer/Rapper of the Year category at Lan Song Xanh 2024 brings together the leading names in terms of audience traffic in Vietnam today. HIEUTHUHAI and Quang Hung MasterD made a strong impression through the program Anh trai say hi, with many personal hits both in the program. Phan Manh Quynh was successful with the soundtrack of the movie MAI and the album CineLove, and will soon have his first concert in his career in Ho Chi Minh City.
