Lionel Messi has signed a three-year contract extension with Inter Miami.

Argentinian football superstar Lionel Messi has officially signed a new contract with Inter Miami, valid until December 2028.

Having moved to Major League Soccer (MLS) more than two years ago, Messi created a football sensation in North America, elevating Inter Miami as well as the club competitions he has participated in.

Particularly pleased with the compensation package and environment here, Lionel Messi has just decided to sign a three-year extension with the team owned by David Beckham and co-owner Jorge Mas.

Inter Miami announced the deal with a video showing Messi signing the contract at what will become Inter Miami's new stadium, Miami Freedom Park.
