Alisson has never expressed any desire to leave Anfield.

Galatasaray shocked the world when they made a £50m offer to sign Liverpool's number one goalkeeper, Alisson Becker. Not only that, the Istanbul team is also willing to pay a generous salary of £250,000/week for the Brazilian star - a rare figure for a goalkeeper.

However, Liverpool quickly refused. Alisson is said to have affirmed his absolute commitment to Anfield, making the "The Kop" leadership feel secure. They even seemed quite surprised by Galatasaray's move, because Alisson is an "untouchable" name in the squad - especially when Liverpool just sold reserve goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher to Brentford.

Galatasaray's ambitions don't stop at Alisson. They previously signed Leroy Sane on a free transfer after the German left Bayern Munich, offering him a salary of over €500,000 a week - a new record in Turkey.

As for Alisson, he was once the most expensive goalkeeper in the world when he joined Liverpool from Roma in 2018 for a fee of more than 72.5 million euros. Since then, the goalkeeper born in 1992 has become a reliable stopper, contributing greatly to important titles, including the Champions League and Premier League.

Despite turning 32, Alisson is still in top form. He was a mainstay in Liverpool’s journey to the Premier League title last season and has a contract with the port city team until 2027. Not only a goalkeeper, Alisson is also a symbol of stability and class in the successful era of the “Red Brigade”.
