Recently, the world famous travel guide Lonely Planet (USA) published a list of the best tourist destinations in Southeast Asia. Cao Bang of Vietnam is on this list.

Cao Bang is honored to be ranked 2nd thanks to its impressive natural scenery by Lonely Planet.
Lonely Planet writer Acacia Gabriel commented: "As a northern mountainous province, Cao Bang has rugged terrain but beautiful nature and is not as crowded as many other tourist destinations."
A popular travel guide briefly introduces Truc Lam Buddhist Temple, a temple located in Cao Bang. The temple has a beautiful view of the rolling hills in the distance.
Visitors are also recommended to visit Ban Gioc waterfall, one of the most impressive waterfalls in Southeast Asia with many cascades. Here, visitors can choose to visit by boat or bamboo raft.

Author Acacia Gabriel wrote : "Nguom Ngao Cave, located right next to the ancient stone village of Khuoi Ky, is also considered a 'wonder' that cannot be missed. This is a large cave with many impressive stalactites with a length of more than 2.1km and some unexplored branches."
