Long An has a new director of the Department of Construction.

Following the merger, the Department of Construction has 7 administrative organizations and five public service units with the function of advising and assisting the Provincial People's Committee in managing state affairs in the fields of transportation, construction, and other areas as prescribed.

On the morning of March 3rd, at building 3 of the Department of Construction in Ward 6, Tan An City, Long An Province, the Department of Construction implemented the decision of the Provincial People's Committee to appoint the Department's Board of Directors.

Mr. Dang Hoang Tuan has been appointed Director of the Department of Construction, along with five Deputy Directors: Nguyen Van Trang, Nguyen Hoai Trung, Luu Van Khanh, Nguyen Thanh Ngoan, and Tran Ba ​​Phuoc. The decisions are effective from March 1st.

At the same time, the Department also announced 39 decisions on personnel matters for the positions of Head and Deputy Head of professional departments; Chief and Deputy Chief Inspector of the Department; and Director and Deputy Director of affiliated units.

Leaders of the Department of Construction presented the appointment decisions for heads and deputy heads of departments and divisions following the merger.

According to Mr. Dang Hoang Tuan, this is a challenging task for the unit in this new phase. However, he believes that with the experienced staff and officials of the two sectors of transportation and construction, now that they are working together as one, they will soon stabilize and immediately begin their work with the highest spirit and determination.

Mr. Dang Hoang Tuan, born in 1978, is from Long Hiep commune, Ben Luc district, Long An province. On January 30, 2008, he was admitted to the Communist Party of Vietnam and holds an advanced level of political theory qualification.

In May 2016, he was elected as a member of the 14th National Assembly of Vietnam (2016-2021 term) representing Long An province, and served as a member of the National Assembly's Economic Committee.

At the time he was elected to the National Assembly, he was the Chairman of the Party Committee's Inspection Committee of the Long An Provincial Department of Transport, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Inspection Division of the Department of Transport, and Chief Inspector of the Long An Provincial Department of Transport.

He was then appointed Deputy Director of the Department of Transport. In February 2021, he was appointed Director of the Long An Department of Transport until the end of February 2025.
