Long Chau wins 'Breakthrough solution in digital health and healthcare' at Better Choice Awards 2025

(Chinhphu.vn) - Long Chau Pharmacy and Vaccination Center system was honored at the Better Choice Awards 2025 with the award "Breakthrough solution in digital health and healthcare". The event took place at the National Innovation Center (NIC) in Hoa Lac on the evening of October 3.

The award recognizes the pioneering efforts of "Long Chau Electronic Health Book" in applying digital technology to enhance the comprehensive healthcare experience.

Long Chau Electronic Health Book is a digital platform that supports users to monitor and take care of their health proactively. The application deploys many outstanding features such as a standard medical questionnaire for self-health check-up, online medicine lookup and ordering function, medication reminders, tracking health indicators (weight, blood pressure, heart rate, blood sugar) in the form of charts. At the same time, the platform also stores electronic vaccination history, suggests personalized vaccination schedules and builds secure and safe electronic health records (eHealth Record).

The highlight of this solution is the application of AI Vision and peripheral device synchronization technology. At the same time, it supports online chat with medical staff for quick and timely consultation, helping people proactively prevent diseases, reduce the burden on the public health system and expand access to services, especially in remote areas.

Currently, Long Chau electronic health book has served more than 2 million users, contributing to changing Vietnamese people's health care habits, from passive to active. The application has integrated advanced technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI) to support health checks, personalization of medical content, optical character recognition (OCR) technology to extract information from paper prescriptions and smart reminders (Smart Reminder) synchronized with personal calendars or health wearables. In addition, real-time connectivity helps users easily chat with medical staff and receive timely advice.
