Speaking at the opening of the training course, former member of the Party Central Committee, former Deputy Minister of Public Security , Vice Chairman of the Central Theoretical Council, Senior Lieutenant General, Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Van Thanh said that this training course for young theoretical and critical thinkers is the 9th class in a series of activities persistently organized by the Central Theoretical Council, with the goal of building and nurturing a team of successors who are strong in theory, sharp in expertise, have political courage and are passionate about the country's literary and artistic career.
Associate Professor, Dr. Nguyen Van Thanh said that 2025 is an important year to implement the urgent requirements from the country's development practice, clearly oriented in the Resolution of the 13th National Party Congress, which is to build and develop the cultural and industrial sectors. Therefore, the Organizing Committee decided to choose the theme of the 9th Training Course as Vietnamese Literature and Arts with the promotion of national identity in building and developing the cultural and industrial sectors .
At the training course, students listened to many topics such as: National identity in literature and art from a theoretical and critical perspective; Digital art criticism and multimedia communication: New opportunities to spread Vietnamese cultural values; Developing cultural industry in a national, advanced and modern direction in the fields of cinema and theater; Marketization of art and the issue of preserving and promoting national identity: The role of those working in theory and criticism; Training a team of young theorists and critics with the task of developing cultural industry ; along with that is exchanging and discussing related issues.
With the organized topics, Associate Professor Dr. Nguyen Van Thanh hopes that students will focus their intelligence and deeply and comprehensively grasp the content of the topics presented by leading scientists and experts.
Be proactive and actively participate in discussions and exchanges, not only to clarify issues but also to boldly propose new ideas and new perspectives from your own work and research practices.
Combining theory and practice, turning learned knowledge into sharp tools to analyze and evaluate cultural and artistic phenomena in life, effectively serving professional work.
At the same time, students need to increase communication, connection, and build a network of young theorists and critics across the country to share, support, and develop together.
Speaking at the opening of the training course, Chairman of Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee, Dr. Pham Quang Ngoc affirmed that in the current context of socio-economic development, cultural industry has become one of the key economic sectors, contributing to shaping identity, enhancing national soft power and promoting sustainable development.
For the new Ninh Binh province, the expanded area includes the three former provinces of Ninh Binh, Ha Nam and Nam Dinh. The development of cultural industry associated with the preservation and promotion of cultural identity is not only an inevitable trend but also a way to promote the long-standing, rich and unique cultural potential of this land.
With its available advantages and potentials, Ninh Binh province identifies the cultural industry as a new growth driver, creating a breakthrough in socio-economic development.
At the same time, it is an important tool to preserve and develop the cultural industry into a spearhead economic sector; linking development with conservation, linking tradition with creativity and linking local identity with global trends.
