Associate Professor Zhang Jiu Si graduated with a bachelor's degree in Automation from Harbin University of Engineering in 2019. From September 2019 to July 2021, he studied for a master's degree in Control Science and Engineering at Harbin University of Technology. From September 2021 to December 2024, he was a graduate student at Harbin University of Technology.

Before being appointed as Associate Professor at the age of 28, as a student, Truong Cuu Tu achieved many remarkable achievements such as: Winner of the BaosteelEducation Award - a prestigious education award in China; Best doctoral thesis at Harbin University of Technology; 3 times receiving the National Scholarship (in 2017, 2020 and 2023).

Up to now, Associate Professor Truong Cuu Tu has about 30 research articles published in international journals, and more than 20 articles published in first-class journals of the Chinese Academy of Sciences/publications in the IEEE Transactions series. Of these, 10 articles are in the top highly cited papers (ESI Highly Cited Papers), 4 articles are in the top trending papers (ESI Hot Papers), with a total of SCI citations >1,300 times.

Admitting that he is new to scientific research, Associate Professor Truong Cuu Tu has so far participated in 3 projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, 2 key projects of the National Key Research and Development Program of the Ministry of Science and Technology , and many other scientific research projects. In addition, he is also regularly invited to be a reviewer for prestigious international journals and conferences.

With the above achievements, in 2024, Zhang Jiuxi was the only graduate student to be in the top 2% of the world's leading scientists as voted by Elsevier. Therefore, after 1 month of graduating with a doctorate, Zhang Jiuxi was immediately recruited by the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China and appointed as an associate professor at the age of 28.

Currently, his main research interests include intelligent operation and maintenance of industrial systems, data-driven monitoring/optimization, big data and artificial intelligence in industry, electronic device measurement, and innovative methods for fault prediction and condition monitoring of complex industrial systems.
