Brigade 132 held a ceremony to celebrate the 70th anniversary of its traditional day.

General Phan Van Giang, Politburo member, Deputy Secretary of the Central Military Commission, Minister of National Defense sent a letter of commendation and encouragement to the unit's officers, employees and soldiers.

Major General Khuc Dang Tuan, Commander of the TTLL Corps; Major General Tran Minh Tam, Political Commissar of the TTLL Corps; leaders of the Corps agencies; leaders of friendly units, enterprises, local Party committees and authorities and generations of officers and soldiers of Brigade 132 attended the ceremony.

70 years ago, on the International Labor Day, May 1st, in Dam village, Dong Bam commune, Dong Hy district (now Phu Cuong commune, Dai Tu district), Thai Nguyen province, the first bare wire company of our army, codenamed Company 105, was established. The birth of Company 105 marked a new step in the development of the TTLL army.

Although at first the organization, equipment and weapons were few and very rudimentary, with a high spirit of determination, the company immediately began training and expertise to become the core force in building a bare wire information network in the Viet Bac base area, ensuring wire information from the Viet Bac war zone to the Northwest for the Party Central Committee and Uncle Ho, the General Military Commission, and the General Command to direct and command the battlefields. The 105 bare wire information company became the predecessor unit, marking the milestone of its birth and becoming the traditional day of Brigade 132 today.

Over 70 years of construction and growth, generations of officers and soldiers of Brigade 132 have “made the forest open the way, made the mountains bow their heads”; “defeated the enemy, defeated nature”, and excellently completed their missions; and were awarded the title of Hero of the People’s Armed Forces by the Party and State and many other noble awards. In the Brigade, Battalion 86 and Company 6 (Battalion 2) were awarded the title of Hero of the People’s Armed Forces.

From a bare wire communications company, up to now, Brigade 132 has become a mixed communications unit with many modern equipment and weapons; ensuring information security to serve the leaders of the Party, State, Central Military Commission, Ministry of National Defense to direct and command the entire army units in 11 provinces and cities in the Central Highlands and Truong Sa archipelago.

In order to meet the requirements of the assigned tasks, ensuring timely, smooth and solid information, the Party Committee and the command of Brigade 132 have implemented many breakthrough policies and solutions, both taking advantage of the development trend of science and technology and maximizing the strength and internal resources of the unit. The annual training results of the subjects are over 80% good and excellent. Building a Party organization that completes well and excellently its tasks, a comprehensively strong unit that is "exemplary and typical", strong and excellent mass organizations...

Speaking at the ceremony, Major General Tran Minh Tam, Political Commissar of the TTLL Corps, acknowledged, highly appreciated and commended the outstanding achievements in the 70 years of construction and development of Brigade 132. At the same time, he requested the unit to thoroughly grasp the resolutions and directives of the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense in the coming time, in conjunction with implementing the "Strategy for developing the military TTLL system for the period 2021-2030, with a vision to 2045" of the TTLL Corps.

Focus on making breakthroughs in improving training quality; innovating training content, organization and methods in a practical and effective direction to meet requirements. “Good at traditional information - Elite in mobile information - Mastering high-tech information”. Proactively and well performing technical assurance work according to decentralization and assignment; supporting all military units in the area in technical assurance work and building information engineering forces, especially in the Truong Sa archipelago, DK1 Platform, and border areas.

Regularly take care of building the Party, building a contingent of cadres and party members in terms of political qualities, ethics, lifestyle, professional qualifications, and practical working capacity. Effectively deploy the "Skilled Mass Mobilization" models and do a good job of policy work, contributing to improving the lives of policy families, cadres and soldiers of the unit...

On this occasion, the Command of the TTLL Corps presented the Flag of the Corps to Brigade 132.
