(Dan Tri Newspaper) - While attempting to trick two colleagues into being sold to Cambodia for $1,000, Tue was arrested by the police of Ben Cau district, Tay Ninh province.

On December 7th, the police in Ben Cau district, Tay Ninh province, issued a decision to temporarily detain Ngo Van Tue (19 years old, from Hanoi ) for investigation into the crime of human trafficking.

The day before, the Ben Cau District Police inspected the MV guesthouse in Ward 1, Ben Cau town (Ben Cau district), and discovered that Tue was preparing to take two people, Giap and Diep, to Cambodia to sell them for an agreed price of 500 USD per person.

During questioning at the investigative agency, Tuế confessed that he connected with several accounts on social media to inquire about the price for transporting people to Cambodia. After receiving a reply from the account "Mễ mễ," Tuế conceived the idea of ​​luring and deceiving others into going to Cambodia to be sold.

Tue invited two colleagues from the same company, Pham Tran Giap (from Ha Tinh province ) and Phung Van Diep (from Phu Tho province), to come to Ho Chi Minh City for a trip, covering all expenses.

Upon arriving at Tan Son Nhat Airport in Tan Binh District (Ho Chi Minh City), Tue hired a taxi to take his two colleagues to Tay Ninh. Near the Cambodian border, Giap and Diep realized Tue wanted to help them cross the border illegally, so they objected and tried to turn back to find a place to rest.

At the MV guesthouse, Tuế continued to contact the "Mễ mễ" account to find a way to trick two colleagues into going to Cambodia, but he was discovered and arrested by the police.
