In Hung Dien commune, a section of the embankment more than 2km long was breached by rising floodwaters. The Hung Dien Commune Military Command promptly deployed 30 officers and soldiers along with equipment to transport soil to reinforce the embankment.
Determined to prevent rising water from flooding people's crops, hundreds of cubic meters of soil were transported by soldiers in a timely manner, successfully preventing the dike from overflowing. In addition, many mobile pumps were deployed to pump water out of the dike area.

In Vinh Chau commune, many areas with over 200 hectares of rice paddies and fruit orchards are threatened by rapidly rising floodwaters. The Vinh Chau Commune Military Command quickly deployed forces to transport soil to vulnerable locations to reinforce dikes and prevent dike breaches.
In Vinh Thanh commune, more than 14 hectares of rice fields were submerged in water. Militia forces, police, and local people rushed to harvest the crops. After more than two days of actively racing against the floodwaters, over 2 hectares of rice fields were safely brought ashore.

Currently, floodwaters in the province are still rising, so local authorities have organized monitoring and standby forces to be ready to handle any incidents with the determination to avoid being caught off guard and causing damage to the people.
