According to Mr. Duong Cong Dinh, Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Luc Nam district, the highlight of cultural and spiritual tourism in Luc Nam is the Suoi Mo Eco-tourism Area (Nghia Phuong commune), which possesses many historical, cultural, and religious values.
Here, there is a system of three main temples (Lower Temple, Middle Temple, and Upper Temple) dedicated to the Holy Mother of the Mountains; the Temple of the God of Agriculture, located in My Son village (Cam Ly commune), is one of the important historical relics of the sacred land of Tay Yen Tu.
The sports and recreation facilities in Bac Giang include a golf course and resort covering over 147 hectares in the communes of Chu Dien, Yen Son, and Kham Lang, which are nearing completion. In addition, the district boasts numerous lakes and streams with beautiful scenery, along with large areas of fruit trees producing local specialties, creating favorable conditions for the district to exploit and develop eco-tourism and resort tourism.
Based on the assessment, the goals, tasks, and solutions for tourism development in accordance with the District Party Committee's Resolution have been focused on and implemented, yielding many positive results.
The district has mobilized resources to develop several key tourist destinations, including: investing over 300 billion VND in developing tourism infrastructure and renovating and upgrading historical and cultural relics, focusing on the infrastructure of the spiritual and ecological tourism area with projects to upgrade the Suoi Mo temple system (Trung Temple, Thuong Temple); completing the road system connecting the relic sites within the Suoi Mo Ecological Tourism Complex (Choi Soan communal house, Ho Bac pagoda, Hon Trung pagoda). The district is also accelerating the progress of several projects to build roads connecting to tourist tours along the walking path of the Truc Lam Yen Tu Zen sect (Vinh Nghiem pagoda - Than Nong temple - Suoi Mo - Tay Yen Tu).
Recognizing tourism as one of the key tasks in socio-economic development, opening up opportunities to promote and attract investment to the area, Luc Nam district is focusing on supporting investors in implementing the Bac Giang Golf and Resort construction project with a total investment of approximately 740 billion VND.

Mr. Than Van Dieu, Deputy General Director of Truong An Luc Nam Golf Joint Stock Company, said: “The company is currently constructing on the entire area of over 118 hectares of land that has been allocated. To date, 18 golf holes have been basically completed and are undergoing trial operation. Regarding auxiliary items, the golf practice facility, maintenance building, and storage system have been completed. Currently, the company is focusing on accelerating the construction progress of the 18 golf holes in phase 2.”
The People's Committee of Luc Nam district also directs, guides, and supports communes, towns, and businesses in developing distinctive agricultural products and upgrading OCOP products to meet the needs of tourists. Currently, there are 28 OCOP products in the district that meet 3 to 4-star standards, mainly in the fields of food, beverages, and herbal products.
After receiving OCOP 4-star certification, the quality of the products has been affirmed, and production scale has continuously expanded, contributing to increased value and income for the people. For example, after more than 4 years since the Golden Flower Tea product was recognized as a 4-star OCOP product, from the initial 4 hectares of Golden Flower Tea plants, the Luu Chanh Medicinal Plant Production Cooperative (Truong Son commune) has collaborated with households in neighboring communes to expand to nearly 50 hectares. This product is purchased by many tourists as gifts.
In summary, over the past four years, Luc Nam district's tourism sector has welcomed over 2 million visitors and guided over 900 tour groups from within and outside the province, achieving 100% of the target set in the Resolution. Tourism and service revenue reached 100 billion VND. With its existing potential and solutions to promote tourism through mass media and social networks, Luc Nam district is striving to become an attractive destination for tourists from near and far.
