Closely following the content and requirements of the Resolution, the People's Committee of Luc Nam district has developed an implementation plan, focusing on three main types and tourism products, which are also the strengths of the district: Culture - spirituality, ecology - resort and sports - entertainment.

According to Mr. Duong Cong Dinh, Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee, the highlight of cultural and spiritual tourism in Luc Nam is the Suoi Mo Eco-tourism Area (Nghia Phuong Commune) with many historical, cultural and religious values.
There is a system of 3 main temples (Ha Temple, Trung Temple and Thuong Temple) worshiping the Holy Mother of the Upper Realm; Than Nong Temple located in My Son village (Cam Ly commune) is one of the important historical relics of the sacred land of Tay Yen Tu.
Sports and entertainment include a golf course and Bac Giang resort with an area of over 147 hectares in the communes of Chu Dien, Yen Son, and Kham Lang, which are gradually being completed. In addition, the district has many lakes and streams with beautiful landscapes and a large area of fruit trees associated with local specialties, creating favorable conditions for the district to exploit and develop eco-tourism and resorts.
Through assessment, the goals, tasks and solutions for tourism development in the spirit of the Resolution of the District Party Committee have been focused on implementation and achieved many results.
The district has mobilized resources to build a number of key tourist attractions such as: Investing more than 300 billion VND in developing tourism infrastructure and renovating and upgrading historical and cultural relics, focusing on the infrastructure of the spiritual eco-tourism area with projects to upgrade the Suoi Mo temple system (Trung temple, Thuong temple); completing the traffic system, connecting relic sites in the Suoi Mo Eco-tourism Area complex (Choi Soan communal house, Ho Bac pagoda, Hon Trung pagoda). Speeding up the progress of a number of projects to build connecting routes to tours along the walking path of the Buddha of the Truc Lam Yen Tu Zen sect (Vinh Nghiem pagoda - Than Nong temple - Suoi Mo - Tay Yen Tu).
Identifying tourism as one of the key tasks of socio-economic development, opening up opportunities to promote and attract business investment in the area, Luc Nam district is interested in supporting investors to implement the project of building a Bac Giang Golf and Resort with a total investment of about 740 billion VND.
Over the past 4 years, Luc Nam district tourism has welcomed over 2 million visitors, guiding over 900 domestic and foreign tourist groups to visit, reaching 100% of the Resolution's target. Tourism and service revenue reached 100 billion VND. |
Mr. Than Van Dieu, Deputy General Director of Truong An Luc Nam Golf Joint Stock Company said: “The unit is constructing on the entire area of more than 118 hectares of land that has been assigned. Up to now, 18 golf holes have been basically completed and are being tested. Regarding auxiliary items, the golf practice house, maintenance house, and warehouse system have been completed. Currently, the company is focusing on speeding up the construction progress of 18 golf holes in phase 2.”
The People's Committee of Luc Nam district also directed, oriented and supported communes, towns and enterprises to develop typical agricultural products, upgrading OCOP products to serve the needs of tourists. Currently, the district has 28 OCOP products meeting 3 to 4 star standards, mainly in the fields of food, beverages and herbs.
After being awarded a star, the quality of the products has been confirmed, the production scale has been continuously expanded, contributing to increasing the value and income for the people. For example, after more than 4 years of the Golden Flower Tea product being recognized as a 4-star OCOP, from the initial 4 hectares of golden flower tea, the Pomegranate Lemon Medicinal Plant Production Cooperative (Truong Son commune) has cooperated with households in neighboring communes to expand by nearly 50 hectares. This product is purchased by many tourists as gifts.
Through synthesis, over the past 4 years, Luc Nam district tourism has welcomed over 2 million visitors, guiding over 900 domestic and foreign tourist groups to visit, reaching 100% of the Resolution. Tourism and service revenue reached 100 billion VND. With existing potential and solutions to promote and advertise the district's tourism on mass media and social networks, Luc Nam district is striving to become an attractive "destination" for tourists from near and far.
