Liu and Hua clash over their children's love lives.
The review of episode 23 of "Life Is Still Beautiful," which aired on the evening of May 23rd, revealed a scene where Ms. Hoa (Anh Tho) and Mr. Luu (Meritorious Artist Hoang Hai) sarcastically mocked each other with every word due to conflict after discovering the relationship between their children.
Accordingly, when talking to Luyen (Thanh Huong), Hoa teased: "You're quite a monster, aren't you? At this rate, you'll be on the roof in no time." At this point, Luu (Meritorious Artist Hoang Hai) grumbled a warning: "You might slip and fall on the roof and break your face."
Because of the relationship between their children, Hoa and Luu mocked each other with every word and phrase.
Displeased with Luu's attitude, Hoa turned to Binh (Minh Cuc) and sarcastically rebuked Luu: "And you too. You didn't choose a decent place. You threw yourself into this place where people are neither human nor beast. Some steal, others cry foul, aren't they just like Chi Pheo?"
Binh immediately retorted, "People are all different, not everyone is the same, so why are you lumping them all together?" But Hoa still insisted that decent people should be in decent places, and shouldn't associate with worthless people.
Seeing this, Liu didn't hesitate to criticize Hoa: "It's better to be like a dog complaining about a cat having too much fur than to have no man to help you."
Luu criticized Hoa for not having a man to help her.
Luu was openly jealous of Nghia.
Meanwhile, while pulling her cart, Luyen unfortunately had a collision, spilling a lot of fruit. At this point, Nghia (Thanh Duong) appeared and readily helped Luyen clean up. Seeing Luyen being demanded compensation and arguing with the other party, Nghia intervened and asserted that he would be the one to compensate Luyen: "Luyen, leave everything related to money to me."
Shortly after, Nghia and Luyen returned to the shop, and Nghia gave her a pretty hair clip. While they were talking, Luu appeared and teased Luyen: "How ridiculous! Even eels need hairpins and clips? You're such an idiot." Annoyed by Luu's attitude, Nghia retorted, "What does that have to do with you?" and chased Luu away.
"You sent this guy away so you could stay here and fool around with this bantam chicken, didn't you?", Liu retorted angrily.
Nghia didn't hesitate to retort: "Even a bantam chicken is better than a fighting rooster, whose face is flushed red all day long as if it has a rash."
Lưu immediately flared up at Nghĩa: "Who are you saying has a rash, you shorty? Do you want to?"
Lưu openly showed her jealousy towards Nghĩa when she saw him and Luyến being close.
Seeing the tension between them, Luyen quickly intervened. Luu, still annoyed, retorted, "We're not doing anything wrong, just two roosters standing next to a hen crowing to liven things up."
Also in episode 23 of "Life Is Still Beautiful," Bat (Tuan Anh) wants to borrow money from Mrs. Tinh (Meritorious Artist Thanh Quy), but she refuses because her goods aren't selling well. Mrs. Tinh gives Bat a few cakes and says, "I only have a few cakes for you, eat them."
Bat believed that Mrs. Tinh wasn't telling the truth, so he continued to plead with her, even checking her wallet, but still found no money. Annoyed, he searched through Mrs. Tinh's basket of cakes, startling her.
Will Bat manage to steal Mrs. Tinh's money? Will Luu and Nghia clash to win over Luyen? The answers will be revealed in "Life Is Still Beautiful" episode 23, airing on VTV3 on the evening of May 23rd.
