Designer Do Manh Cuong takes on the role of 'host' for the first time.

Fashion designer Do Manh Cuong unexpectedly revealed that he will be hosting the show 'The Face Vietnam 2026'. This marks his first time leading a reality TV show.

Fashion designer Do Manh Cuong candidly shared: "Many people think I'm very quiet and would have difficulty hosting a big show. However, I want to challenge myself in a new role so that the public can see my diverse sides."

As one of the most influential names in Vietnamese fashion , designer Do is expected to bring a fresh perspective to the show. Before him, makeup artist Nam Trung, actor Huu Vi, and model Vinh Thuy were the artists who previously served as hosts of The Face Vietnam.

Do Manh Cuong stated that his role is not only to mediate and resolve conflicts between contestants and mentors, but sometimes, when necessary, he is ready to act as a catalyst to escalate confrontations and create compelling highlights for viewers. He is not afraid of public pressure or opposing opinions, believing that diverse debates from the public will be the element that creates the excitement and reflects the true spirit of a reality TV show.

Commenting on this year's mentor lineup, the designer said that Anh Thư, Võ Hoàng Yến, and H'Hen Niê represent three generations of models with three different personalities, which will create great appeal for the program. Among them, Miss H'Hen Niê is a special wildcard who could change the course of the competition at any time.

Fashion designer Do Manh Cuong, born in 1981, graduated from the Hanoi University of Industrial Fine Arts and then studied in France, working for many international fashion houses. After returning to Vietnam, he built his own brand and quickly became a prominent name in Vietnamese fashion, the first designer to regularly hold two fashion shows per year. He has also served as a judge on programs such as Vietnam's Next Top Model and Project Runway Vietnam . After the Covid-19 pandemic, the designer continued to establish two young brands, Sixdo and DMC by Do Manh Cuong, quickly gaining popularity in the fields of office wear and fashion for Gen Z. In recent years, he has been affectionately called "the father with the most children in Vietnamese showbiz" after adopting 10 children with businessman Huy Can.
