Phuket (Thailand) has many beautiful beaches with warm clear water and many recreational activities.
Nai Harn Beach
Strolling on the sand, passing the sailboats dotted around the bay and paddling in the shallow waters is the most enchanting summer experience.
You’ll also find a freshwater lagoon just inland called Nai Harn Lake. You can run around the shore, past a small Buddhist temple in the forest, and head straight into the water to cool off.
Karon Beach
Karon Beach will charm you instantly with its pristine white sand and stunning turquoise waters. The beautiful Karon Beach, though always crowded, never makes you feel cramped or uncomfortable. Moreover, you will feel relaxed with the picturesque tropical islands scattered in the calm blue.
Mai Khao Beach
Mai Khao is the longest beach and one of the most beautiful beaches in Phuket. With soft golden sand, the chirping of birds from the casuarina trees and the sound of waves will make every visitor forget all their tiredness...
Nai Yang Beach
Nai Yang is a small but vibrant beach. Part of Sirinath National Park – considered one of the world’s most stunning national parks – it is a popular destination for both Thais and foreigners.
While much of Phuket’s west coast offers excellent snorkelling, Nai Yang Beach is a standout thanks to its offshore reef. A popular dive site, it’s a kaleidoscope of tropical marine life. You can also rent kayaks and enjoy pad Thai.
Kamala Beach
Kamala is a quiet place with wide white sands, shiny palm trees and green casuarinas.
Kata Beach
Kata Beach is one of Phuket’s most beautiful beaches, with sun loungers shaded by blue umbrellas. On the horizon, rugged limestone islands await kayaking adventures.
Ao Sane (Jungle Beach)
A rare gem, Ao Sane is a crescent-shaped chain of small beaches located on the southwestern edge of the island. To get there, drive along the winding road around Nai Harn Resort until you reach the Ao Sane parking area. Ao Sane offers a level of tranquility that is hard to find elsewhere.
Freedom Beach
As your longtail boat glides across the translucent waters, around a headland, you’ll see an inviting stretch of white sand. With chiseled cliffs and dense jungle surrounding the golden sand, it’s no wonder this is ranked among Phuket’s best beaches.
Bang Tao Beach
Bang Tao Beach is located right in the middle of Phuket’s west coast, set in a wide bay and is one of the largest beaches on the island. Bang Tao is popular but still feels deserted. You can find beach bars, ice cream parlours, golf clubs and upscale spas both on the sand and inland at Bang Tao.
Surin Beach
Surin is one of Phuket's best beaches because of its all-around appeal: golden sand, crystal clear water, and upscale shopping and dining options. Dig your toes into the soft sand, smell the pine trees, and feel the sun warm your shoulders.
Laem Sing Beach
Long one of the most beautiful beaches in Phuket, Laem Sing is a very attractive beach. You will find a small orange ferry at the southern end of Surin Beach, well signposted in English. With a beautiful crescent-shaped beach front, some dreamy palm trees leaning against the long stretch of sand, it is truly an unforgettable experience.
