"The information reported by the regional media is incorrect. Coach Mano Polking is not our choice," Madam Pang's representative informed Tri Thuc - Znews on the evening of July 1.

Immediately after winning the 2024/25 National Cup with CAHN, Coach Polking was said to be on the radar of several teams in the region, including Port FC. This team plays in the Thai.League and was once owned by Madam Pang, who is currently the head of the Football Association of Thailand (FAT).

"Port FC currently has coach Alexandre Gama, and coach Polking is leading a V.League team. We have never made any offer to him," Madam Pang's side continued to deny rumors of contact with coach Polking.

Regarding this story, the coach who is working at CAHN also spoke out to deny the above information. Currently, Mr. Polking is on a post-season break with CAHN. The Police team ended the 2024/25 season with the National Cup championship.

"I think that team already has a coach so we don't need to talk about it anymore," Coach Polking told Tri Thuc - Znews on the afternoon of July 1.

Coach Polking has worked for many years in Thai.League. He started leading Thai teams since 2012, and has won the Thai.League runner-up position twice.

At the national team level, the strategist born in 1974 helped the Thai team win the AFF Cup twice and helped the U23 Thailand team win the SEA Games silver medal. He was fired by the FAT after a series of poor results for the "War Elephants" (Thailand's nickname), culminating in a 1-2 loss to China in the second qualifying round of the 2026 World Cup.

In May 2024, Coach Polking joined CAHN and helped the team improve its playing style significantly. After a season that was considered to meet expectations, CAHN will face a tight schedule next season. Coach Polking's team will compete in 5 arenas including V.League, National Cup, National Super Cup, Southeast Asian Cup and AFC Champions League Two.
