
Phuc Loc commune has 12 out of 17 highland villages; currently, 3 villages still lack roads accessible by car, and 5 villages lack electricity. The entire commune has 735 households with a population of 3,415 people, and the poverty rate is 32.3%. The 12 highland villages of the commune are mainly inhabited by the Mong and Dao ethnic groups, with 4 villages where 100% of the households are poor.

At the event, the Youth Union of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and sponsors presented meaningful gifts to the people of Phuc Loc commune, including: support for 10 "Great Solidarity" houses in response to the "Shelter for My People" program (each house worth 60 million VND); 30 boxes of student notebooks worth 55 million VND; and 200 portions of cakes and milk along with scholarships worth 10 million VND for students. The total value of the support presented at the program was approximately 700 million VND.

Speaking at the program, Luong Thi Huyen Trang, Secretary of the Youth Union of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, said that the donation of 10 houses and other support gifts not only brings material warmth but also serves as a source of spiritual encouragement for people who have suffered difficulties and losses due to natural disasters. She also expressed her hope that the "Shelter for My Compatriots" program will continue to receive more support and spread more widely in society, bringing joy and happiness to many other families across the country.
