In 2009, I decided to leave Saigon to return to start a career and work for Quang Nam Newspaper with the desire to live and work in my hometown...

I am very lucky to return and work under the roof of Quang Nam Newspaper, where all capacity measures are within each person. For the Secretariat of the Printed Newspaper, all members work with the highest responsibility, united by the collective spirit. We love each other like a family, stick together and grow together.

In the days leading up to the merger, we kept asking each other “Stay or go?”. But no matter what choice we made, we still had a love for the name Quang Nam, the name of the land, the name of the local Party newspaper that was loved by readers - the great love of journalists on this loyal land.

The expectation of a new city, a new growth pole of the country is being sent by the people of the two provinces and cities to the city leaders. And that is also the expectation of us, those who are tasked with propagating the policies of the Party and State to the people, as well as bringing the voices of the people to the leaders of the new city.

We - policy communicators - hope to bring the voices and aspirations of people in remote areas, border areas, and ethnic minority areas to the city's leaders in the context of vast terrain, large population, and many areas of Quang Nam still facing many difficulties that need to be heard and understood.

In the beginning, it is expected that there will be many obstacles, but the expectation of a government close to the people and listening to the people will be realized as the orientation of all levels has set out in arranging administrative boundaries and operating 2-level local governments.
