Mai Phuong finished in the top 40 of Miss World 2023.

Mai Phuong, representing Vietnam, competed alongside over 100 other beauties in the 71st Miss World final, which recently took place in India.

In the final night, Mai Phuong was named among the top 40 after winning the Multimedia Challenge, a competition voted on by the audience.

Despite her best efforts, the Vietnamese beauty was unable to advance further into the top 12. As a result, Mai Phương's journey ended in the top 40 overall.

The Top 12 included beauties from: Brazil, Dominican Republic, Trinidad and Tobago, Botswana, Mauritius, Uganda, Czech Republic, Great Britain, Spain, Australia, India, and Lebanon.

Throughout her month at Miss World, Mai Phuong was well-liked by the other contestants for her friendly and outgoing personality. With her fluent English, the beauty queen always took the initiative to strike up conversations and maintained a polite attitude towards everyone.

She is praised for her meticulousness in every activity, skillfully promoting Vietnamese culture to friends around the world and international media through her attire.

During the Sports Beauty round, Mai Phuong livened up the atmosphere by teaching the contestants to dance to "See Tình ." To the familiar music, the beauties excitedly followed the moves of the Vietnamese representative.

Although she didn't stand out in the preliminary rounds, Mai Phương was highly regarded by many renowned beauty websites. The beauty website Real Pageanthology even predicted that the Vietnamese representative would win the crown.

Huynh Nguyen Mai Phuong represented Vietnam at the 71st Miss World pageant. She was crowned Miss World Vietnam 2022. Born in 1999, the beauty queen studied English Language at the University of Social Sciences and Humanities.

During her high school years, Mai Phuong won second prize (2017) and third prize (2018) in the provincial-level English proficiency competition for gifted students, and currently holds an IELTS certificate with a score of 8.0. She is also a bilingual MC for many programs and is capable of playing piano and guitar.

With two years to prepare for the competition, Mai Phuong was once considered one of Vietnam's strongest representatives at this beauty pageant.
