The first is the IL-14 aircraft. This is one of five aircraft that the Soviet Government provided to Vietnam in 1957 and officially put into operation in 1958. Among them, the IL-14 with serial number VN-C482 has a special significance as it was given by the Soviet Government to Uncle Ho, and was used for special flights carrying Uncle Ho and other Party and State leaders during the resistance war against the US to save the country.

The IL-14 aircraft has now been transported to the Sky Aspirations exhibition area at the National Achievements Exhibition.
The technical team is continuing to clean and complete the display items, ready to serve visitors during the country's important holiday.

In addition to the IL-14, the Vietnam Civil Aviation Industry also brought to the exhibition the A320 aircraft from the Training Center of the Aviation Technical Services Joint Stock Company (AESC). The A320 is a fairly popular aircraft in Vietnam, put into operation since 1996 and expired after 14 years, currently used as a visual teaching aid for students.
Citizens and tourists will have the opportunity to experience services with applications: Buying airline tickets, serving in the waiting room and trying to sit on the A320 aircraft; performing 3D mapping projection on the fuselage; experiencing in the cockpit...
In particular, at the A320 aircraft display area, the public has the opportunity to directly experience escape skills with the professional team of the Vietnam Aviation Industry.

In addition, at the "Aspiration for the Sky" Zone, Vietnam Helicopter Corporation (VNH) will display helicopters for search and rescue flights. VNH is one of the leading helicopter service operators in Southeast Asia, highly appreciated by customers and partners for its service quality and safety commitment.
Vietnam Airlines Corporation ( Vietnam Airlines ) brought to the "Aspiration for the Sky" section to display a model of the Airbus A-350 aircraft engine. This is the first generation of Airbus aircraft in the world to use carbon-fiber-reinforced polymer for the design of both the fuselage and wings. This type of aircraft is considered the most environmentally friendly and fuel-efficient today thanks to the new XWB engine technology from the supercar company Rolls Royce. This helps airlines save on operating costs.

In addition, visitors will be able to admire models, sand tables, experience areas, interactive screens, 3D videos of other aviation units and businesses such as: VietjetAir, Viettravel Airlines, BambooAirways, Vietnam Air Traffic Management Corporation (VATM), Flying Legend Company, Vietnam Space Center... which are elaborately implemented, combining traditional elements and modern technology, creating an intuitive and attractive experience space to help visitors learn more about the history, achievements and vision of Vietnam's civil aviation industry.
Mr. Uong Viet Dung, Director of the Civil Aviation Authority of Vietnam, said that bringing typical aircraft, symbolizing the past, present and future to display at the National Achievement Exhibition with the theme "80 years of Independence - Freedom - Happiness" not only has the meaning of introducing typical achievements of the Vietnamese aviation industry, but also contributes to vividly recreating the development journey and aspirations to reach high and far of Vietnam Aviation, true to the name "Aspiration for the sky".
