The Hanoi Front expresses gratitude and presents gifts to military generals.

On the afternoon of December 6th, the Chairwoman of the Hanoi City Fatherland Front Committee, Nguyen Lan Huong, visited and presented gifts to Major General Huynh Dac Huong, Hero of the People's Armed Forces, former Head of the Expert Delegation and Political Commissar of the Vietnamese Volunteer Army in Laos; and offered incense in commemoration of General Le Trong Tan (1914-1986), former Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army and Deputy Minister of National Defense .

Ms. Nguyen Lan Huong visited Major General Huynh Dac Huong, Hero of the People's Armed Forces, former Head of the Expert Delegation and Political Commissar of the Vietnamese Volunteer Army in Laos.

This activity commemorates the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2024) and the 35th anniversary of the National Defense Day (December 22, 1989 - December 22, 2024).

On behalf of the city's leadership, the Chairwoman of the Hanoi City Fatherland Front Committee, Nguyen Lan Huong, cordially inquired about the health of Major General Huynh Dac Huong and the family of General Le Trong Tan, wishing Major General Huynh Dac Huong a happy and healthy life, and that he would always be a shining example and a source of encouragement and inspiration for generations of leaders, officials, and people of the Capital city.

Ms. Nguyen Lan Huong stated that the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army and the 35th anniversary of the National Defense Day are occasions for officials and people of Hanoi to recall the glorious and heroic traditions of the Vietnam People's Army over 80 years of building, fighting, maturing, and winning; and to awaken a sense of national pride and honor.

This is also an opportunity to encourage the entire Party, the entire people, and the entire army to continue to uphold the glorious tradition, focusing on building a national defense system based on the people's security posture, building a strong defense zone for the capital city, and maintaining a peaceful and stable environment to build a more prosperous and happy country. The Party Committee, the government, and the people of the city are determined to firmly protect the achievements of the revolution, united in their efforts to build a city that is increasingly developed, prosperous, and beautiful, and where the people's lives are increasingly comfortable and happy.

Major General Huynh Dac Huong and the family of General Le Trong Tan thanked the city leaders for their visit and expressed their confidence in the leadership and guidance of the Party Committee and the city government. The unity of the Party Committee, the government, the military, and the people will contribute to building a more prosperous and beautiful Hanoi.
