Rabiot's mother was angry with Marseille. |
Marseille are facing a crisis after a dressing room brawl between Adrien Rabiot and Jonathan Rowe was exposed. The incident made headlines when both players were placed on the transfer list for inappropriate behaviour.
Pablo Longoria, the president of Marseille, confirmed the news in an interview. He expressed shock at the situation, which he described as "unprecedented." Longoria also described it as "a very violent fight."
While neither Rabiot nor Rowe have apologized or commented, Rabiot's mother, Veronique, has spoken out against Longoria's claims, saying, "What is unprecedented violence? No one was hurt, no one was in the hospital, no broken noses or split lips, so I don't understand that."
Rabiot's mother also stressed that both coach De Zerbi and director Benatia were present in the dressing room, and if the incident was so serious, why did no one intervene?
Veronique's statement echoed what Rabiot's lawyer, Romuald Palao, had said earlier. He expressed surprise at Rabiot's transfer listing and said the story was "fabricated".
