Connectivity Labs is a hidden Wi-Fi menu on Samsung phones that integrates many useful network testing and optimization tools. To enable it, users must go to Settings > Connections > Wi-Fi > Intelligent Wi-Fi and tap repeatedly on the “Intelligent Wi-Fi” line until the menu appears.
This menu provides weekly bandwidth and network usage charts, allowing for detailed connection quality testing. The Home Wi-Fi Inspection feature allows users to walk around the house to identify areas with weak signals, thereby optimizing the router's location.
Another option allows the device to automatically switch to 4G/5G if Wi-Fi is weak, which is extremely convenient for those using unlimited data plans. The Wi-Fi list can also be filtered by security level and connection standard (like Wi-Fi 6), making it easier for you to find a stronger and more secure network.
For technical people, the Wi-Fi Developer Options section also opens up more in-depth information such as the quality of neighboring networks by rating level. Though hidden deep inside, Connectivity Labs is a treasure trove of extremely useful tools that Samsung users should try to explore to enhance their everyday network experience.
