"I've scored many goals that could have been more beautiful, more important, but that header is always my favorite," said Messi, who helped Barcelona seal a 2-0 win over Manchester United, winning his first Champions League title and ushering in a period of dominance for the Catalan club under Pep Guardiola.

"I'm very impressed with Refik's work. We met in Miami, and it was exciting to see how he can turn a goal into a real work of art," Messi shared.
The work will be co-signed by Messi and Refik and will be auctioned at Christie's in New York on June 11. All proceeds will go to education and community support programs, managed by the Inter Miami CF Foundation.
UEFA also officially granted the rights to use the image of Messi's goal to Inter Miami CF Foundation to serve this campaign. Through this, not only Barca fans, but the whole world can once again relive that moment in a completely new form.
