Khanh Hoa celebrates Vietnam Education Promotion Day (October 2)

On the morning of October 2, Khanh Hoa Provincial Association for Promotion of Education coordinated with Khanh Hoa Fund for Promotion of Education and Talent to celebrate Vietnam's Promotion of Education Day (October 2) and launch the Lifelong Learning Response Week in 2025.

At the ceremony, leaders of Khanh Hoa Province's Association for Promotion of Education called on all levels of associations for promotion of education, social organizations and people of all walks of life to actively participate in the work of promoting education, promoting talents, and building a learning society in the province; and at the same time, deploy a number of key tasks in the coming time.

Accordingly, all levels of the association focus on building, consolidating, and perfecting the association organization and learning promotion committee; systematically and effectively deploying 5 learning models (learning citizens, learning families, learning clans, learning units, learning communities); actively mobilizing social resources for learning and talent promotion work.

Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Huong - Director of Tam Huong Company Limited, President of Khanh Hoa Provincial UNESCO Association presented flowers to the leaders of the Provincial Association for Promotion of Education.

Mr. Pham Van Chi - former Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, former Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Management Board of Khanh Hoa Fund for Encouragement of Learning and Talents presented awards to teachers.

Ms. Bui Thi Hong Tien - Director of Khanh Hoa Scholarship Fund awarded prizes to students and family representatives received them on their behalf.

Mr. Pham Van Chi and Mr. Tran Quang Man - Chairman of the Provincial Association for Promotion of Education presented awards to the students.

Mr. Tran Quang Man and Ms. Nguyen Thi Thanh Huong awarded scholarships to students.

On this occasion, Khanh Hoa Scholarship Fund awarded 21 prizes (each worth 2 million VND) and 10 scholarships (each worth 1 million VND) with a total amount of 52 million VND to 6 teachers with difficult circumstances who have completed their tasks well, 1 valedictorian of the province's high school graduation, 6 students with high scores for university admission and 8 excellent students in the 2024-2025 school year.
