Microsoft Vietnam has a new leader.

DNVN - On September 18th, Microsoft announced the appointment of Mr. Dhanawat Suthumpun as Managing Director for Emerging Markets (including Vietnam), in addition to his current role as Managing Director of Microsoft Thailand.

In this new role, Mr. Dhanawat will lead emerging markets, including Vietnam, and continue to realize Microsoft's mission of promoting the digital transformation of government agencies and private enterprises, contributing to innovation, sustainable development, and inclusive economic growth in Vietnam.

Mr. Dhanawat has over 30 years of leadership experience in the IT industry, including 8 years leading Microsoft Thailand. Prior to joining Microsoft, Mr. Dhanawat held senior management positions at Hewlett-Packard and IBM, where he was responsible for enterprise business development and strategic growth initiatives in Thailand and Southeast Asia. He holds a Master of Business Administration from California State University, San Bernardino and a Bachelor of Accounting from Assumption University, Bangkok.
